7 players per team maximum.

Everyone plays (no sitting).

8-game season.

2 events per week.  Games and practices 1 hour each.  Pre-season: 1 mid-week practice, 1 weekend practice.  Regular season:  1 mid-week practice, 1 weekend game.

Hit off tee, some coach pitch at mid-season.  All players bat each inning.

Player pitch from 35 feet. No walks.  Coach pitch after four balls.

Outs recorded.  3 outs per inning.

End of season tournament.

9 year olds eligible for 9-10 all-stars team.
District tournament and potentially state tournament.

Interlock with Kirkland National Little League and North Redmond Little League.

Interlock with Kirkland National Little League and North Redmond Little League.

City tournament.

Players eligible for 10-11 and 11-12 all-star teams.  10-11 team goes to divisional tournament and potentially state tournaments.  11-12 team goes to district tournament and potentially state, regional, and national tournaments.

Note:  The Junior World Series will be hosted by Little League District 9 (East King County) and held in Kirkland this year.  As host of the tournament, the District 9 champion will be granted automatic entry and have a rare opportunity to compete at the national level!
