6 to 12 players per team depending on the number of coaching volunteers.

Everyone plays (no sitting).

Multiple game season.

2-3 events per week. Games and practices 1 -1.5 hours each. Pre-season: 1 mid-week practice, 1 weekend practice.
Regular season: 1 mid-week practice, 1 weekend game, OR 1 weekday game and 1 weekend game no practice

Hit off tee only, NO COACH PITCH

Outs recorded, but all players bat each inning.

No win / loss / score standings.

AAA

Instructional league, semi-competitive.

Organized by school. Buddy requests will TRY to be honored

11-inch optic yellow safety ball.

Up to 12 players per team, 9 players on field.

  16 game season.

Up to 3 events per week. Pre-season: 2 weekday practices, 1 weekend practice. Regular season: 1 weekday practice, 1 weekday game, 1 weekend game. Games 1 hour 50 minutes.

Player pitches from 35 feet. No walks. Coach pitch after four balls.

3 outs or 5 runs per inning. No Official Score, no Standings.

Interlock with Kirkland National Little League

9 year olds ARE eligible for 9-10 all-stars teams.
District tournament and potentially state tournament.

10 - 11

(9 by petition and skills evaluation)

Coast

Instructional league, competitive.

Skills evaluation and draft.

11-inch hard optic-yellow ball.

16-game season.

Up to 4 events per week. Pre-season: 2-3 weekday practices, 1 weekend practice. Regular season: 1 weekday game, 1 weekend game. Team option for 2nd weekly practice once games begin. Games 1 hour 50 minutes.

Combined with Kirkland National Little League, with girls from both KA and KN LL on each team. Some teams will practice on KN fields (Juanita area), some teams will practice on KA fields. Games will be at various locations throughout District 9 (The Eastside) including Everest.

Fast-pitch from 35 feet. Official score and Standings are kept.

End of season tournament.

Players eligible for 9-10 and 10-11 all-star teams. District tournament and potentially state tournament.

Majors

Competitive.

16 regular season games.

Up to 4 events per week. Pre-season: 3 or 4 practices per week. Regular season: 1 or 2 weekday practices, 1 weekday game, 1 weekend game. Team option for 2nd weekly practice once games begin.

Combined with Kirkland National Little League, with girls from both KA and KN LL on each team. Some teams will practice on KN fields (Juanita area), some teams will practice on KA fields. Games will be at various locations throughout District 9 (The Eastside) including Everest.

End of season Interlock tournament. City tournament.( <--delete)

Players eligible for 10-11 and 11-12 all-star teams. 10-11 team goes to divisional tournament and potentially state tournaments. 11-12 team goes to district tournament and potentially state, regional, and national tournaments.

Fast-pitch from 43 feet, Leadoffs allowed.

Combined with Kirkland National Little League, with girls from both KA and KN LL on each team. Some teams will practice on KN fields (Juanita area), some teams will practice on KA fields. Games will be at various locations throughout District 9 (The Eastside) including Everest.

Official Score and Standings kept, and Lead-offs allowed.

Note: The Junior World Series will be hosted by Little League District 9 (East King County) and held in Kirkland this year. As host of the tournament, the District 9 champion will be granted automatic entry and have a rare opportunity to compete at the national level!
